Early Opera Cabaret

A Haymarket Gala Fundraiser

Join us for a fun evening of music and mirth to celebrate the joy of baroque opera and Haymarket Opera Company's very successful first six years! This gala fundraiser offers a rare chance to hear some of Haymarket's impeccable performers up close, performing their favorite arias and baroque selections as you enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the beautiful Arts Club of Chicago.

Haymarket stars offering the full program of arias and ensembles from the 17th and 18th centuries will include William Dwyer, Nathalie Colas, Ryan de Ryke, Kimberly McCord, Scott Brunscheen, and Suzanne Lommler, accompanied by Jory Vinikour and a string band from the Haymarket Opera Orchestra led by Craig Trompeter.

As well as music, refreshments, and merriment, there will be illuminating and detailed displays to peruse, each one focused on an element of Haymarket productions such as costumes, props, set designs - and of course the orchestra and singers.
